COMMUNITY POWER - Draft Contract for review - Still with Legal Counsel. RFP had been delayed . Awaiting update from Standard Power.
They have modified the Base rate in the contract to the lowest rate no additional Green alternative.
Eversource Rate Case Notice
On June 11 Eversource filed a request to change base electric distribution rates with the New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission (NHPUC).
This request will be reviewed by the NHPUC, and the approved change in rates may be different from what was requested.
The last time they filed for a rate increase to base distribution rates was in 2019.
Bill Impacts
If Eversource's request is approved, you will see an increase in distribution rates on August 1. This rate can be found within the delivery portion of your electric bill.
A typical small business customer on Default Energy Service would see a total bill increase of approximately 5.72%.
An average medium size business customer on Default Energy Service would see a total bill increase of approximately 2.61%.
Large commercial and industrial customers on Default Energy Service will see a total bill increase approximately 2.03%.
On August 1, 2025, business customers will see an additional increase in distribution rates.
The effect on a typical bill for small business customer will be approximately 6% , which is a total increase of 12% over two years.
Medium sized business customers will see approximately an additional 3%, which is a total increase of approximately 6%.
Large commercial & industrial customers will see an additional 3% which is a total increase of 5% over two years.
